Voices that Shake

20 Aug 2010 admin

Over 5-days in August a group of young people gathered to develop creative responses to stories of social injustice and the struggles against them as part of the Shake! Arts, Media, Race & Power course. Inspired by the memories of Nigerian Writers and Activist, Ken Saro-Wiwa and in celebration of the life of Stephen Lawrence they learnt skills in spoken word, djing and filmmaking. This documentary was made by the young people and gives an insight into what went on in the week and some of the amazing work to come out of it.
